Must Read: The Raging Controversy Over BPA Shows No Signs Of Abating

Geoffrey Kabat, a cancer epidemiologist at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine,  writes an excellent piece for Forbes explaining how the debate over bisphenol-A (BPA) is divided into two distinct camps–those who believe the chemical has been tested thoroughly and is safe as used and those who believe its toxic. Dr. Kabat writes how studies linking BPA to some sort of health problem receive vastly more media attention that the overwhelming number of studies that find BPA is not linked to any health problems, even when the studies linking BPA to health problems have been heavily criticized by other scientists.
